Giant kelp provides food and shelter for a vibrant ecosystem.

Look closely and you'll discover an astonishing diversity of fish and invertebrates swimming in our Kelp Forest exhibit and clinging to the kelp and algae.

Listen to live audio of our Kelp Forest feeding program and watch divers hand-feed sharks, fishes and other animals. If you're lucky, a wolf-eel will emerge to gulp some squid or fish.

All Aboard the Free MST Trolley!

Hop aboard the MST trolley for a fast, fun and free ride to the Aquarium! The trolley runs every 10 to 15 minutes with stops in downtown Monterey, Fisherman's Wharf, Cannery Row and the Aquarium. Look for the electric trolley in the fleet for an emission-free trip!
