Sea Otter Conservation Tour

Are sea otters your favorite animal? You aren't alone! This tour gives you an insider's look at our Sea Otter Program, which has been studying and trying to save the threatened southern sea otter for more than 30 years. You'll find out how our staff members care for stranded pups and injured otters from the wild, and also discover how our ongoing sea otter research initiatives are leading the charge to help this iconic species.

Space Is Limited

We recommend you pre-register for all events.

Reservations by Phone

The Sales & Reservation Center is open 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday–Friday (except holidays). 831.647.6886 or toll-free in the U.S. and Canada 866.963.9645.

Reservations in Person

You may register at the Membership and Tours Desk in the main lobby of the Aquarium.

Fee Information

Registration fees do not include Aquarium admission. You must also purchase admission tickets to the Aquarium for all tours that take place inside the Aquarium.

Cancelation

We require at least 72 hours' notice in order to offer a refund. Reservations and cancelations are processed by phone or in person (not by email).

Other Information

For the health and safety of our sea otters, guests are not permitted behind the scenes of the exhibit and are not allowed to feed or touch the animals. Please also note this tour does not include a viewing of any of the daily Sea Otter Feedings.
